No, the aTV Flash software can be easily removed at anytime through the factory restore function. Should you ever need to send the AppleTV in for service, we recommend removing the software.

No. Unlike the alternatives, aTV Flash is the only solution with a graphical installer interface. This provides a simple, streamlined installation that anyone can utilize. Even those with little or no technical knowledge can take advantage of the great features of aTV Flash.

Yes, aTV Flash is available in both Mac and Windows PC versions.

» I have both a Mac and a PC. Which version of aTV Flash should I use? 
In the end it doesn't really matter. Both versions will install exactly the same software. Choose the version for the platform you are most comfortable using. Once aTV Flash has been installed on the AppleTV both a Mac and PC can be used to interact with the AppleTV.

» Can I play video from sites like Hulu and Netflix?
Adobe Flash is not currently supported in Couch Surfer Pro. However, Adobe Flash video can be viewed in Firefox. We have a guide for enabling Adobe Flash in Firefox here. Netflix streaming is not currently supported.

» Can I use my iPhone/iPod Touch to control the AppleTV with aTV Flash?
Yes, all applications can be controlled from an iPhone/iPod Touch by using the Remote app from Apple. This free app gives you full control over AppleTV menus, video playback, web browsing and more.

» Can I use a VPN to access sites or videos from outside the US?
Yes, Hotspot Shield or any other OpenVPN provider can be used on the AppleTV.

» I previously purchased aTV Flash, where can I download the current version?
Current customers can download the latest version of aTV Flash in the My Account section of our site. The download link will be listed under the original order.
